Description
With apologies to Thomas Hardy, this Tess is a kit for use in TSA competition. TSA has a the nice habit of preserving well-working rules, so this kit remains a viable contender for School year 2022-2023. Running on a trimmed-down Ikara 24CM prop and using simple geometries for flying surfaces, Tess does nice pretty takeoffs from the gym floor and trolls around for a good long while before setting down on her wheels again. The wing slips down onto two pylons and is easily adjusted for incidence. Covering is HDPE and the landing gear is pre-bent wire and 3/4″ wheels from Peck-Polymers. As always, the kit comes with prop, rubber (size: .08″), covering, laser-cut wood pieces and a well-illustrated instruction booklet. It’s a great choice! In order to keep the order list moving along, at present I’m permitting a maximum order of four kits.
